Well, I have been in a, somewhat, reading slump. Nothing looked inter-esting. I have been especially tired. I have over filled my plate and don't know where to start. ..... All sorts of reasons.I will say, though, I feel like it started when I finished reading the Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers. I think it started because that was such a wonderful book - A life changing book - that all others just seemed blah.
So, to get back in to reading I decided to try another one of Francine Rivers' books that my friend Kathy read named Leota's Garden. As soon as I saw it on her blog months ago I went to PaperBackSwap.com and got it! It has been beside my bed ever since.
I am about half way thru and loving it. I will let you know how it goes!!
((Of course I am still reading Crazy Love with my book group and will update you in a couple of weeks about what our next book will be.))

This is still one of my most favorite recent reads. I still think about that book a lot... it may have something to do with my love for the older adult population. I think it's great though! I'm glad you like it.
I'm so glad you're reading Leota's Garden! I love Francine! I have read EVERYTHING except for her new book that came out in March... which I will be reading as soon as we get back to the US!
