An Echo in the Darkness by Francine Rivers was WONDERFUL! There is a third book, obviously, in the trilogy but I am going to take a moment away from it and read something else. However, I have the 3rd book sitting waiting for me so don't worry - - - I WILL read it. I WILL have to.I highly highly recommend this trilogy. It will change for life. Your way of thinking. Your excitement for the Lord. Everyone will enjoy these and see something that will help them grow in them.
Next... The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey. My parents gave this book to Chris and I so we are reading it together. I am not sure I am ready for it. Honestly. But Chris and I can do it. We can!!
I have heard about Dave Ramsey for a long time and know a little bit about him and his thoughts. I am excited about reading the whole book.

Good for you, getting on the Dave Ramsey band wagon. It's a great place to be. Clark and I are working on the plan now. I'm glad that Chris is agreeing to do this with you. I read his first book about 8 years ago, but I just couldn't get Clark on board. Then after trying many methods with no success, I started listening to the radio show while I was on maternity leave and then read the second book. With the economy in the trash, Clark agreed to give it a try. So far we have paid off almost $17,000 in 18 months. So, enjoy the book.

Hey! Patrick and I did this and we are DEBT FREE!!! We did Financial Peace University through our church and loved it! The plan really is easy, you just have to be willing to make the sacrifices:) We actually got to speak to Dave on his radio show this past May and tell our story. It was awesome. Good Luck!!
