It really snowed.

More than I wanted.
I was starting (after 4 days of no school) to think that it wouldn't STOP snowing actually.
I am a snow-playing- scrooge. I admit it.
SO, lucky for the kids, Alaina, Phillip, and Ellen came over to play. Alaina, Phillip, and Ellen are NOT snow-playing-scrooges.
Looks like they were all excited and had a great time outside playing - right?
Well, all these pictures were taken in about the first 7 minutes of play. That is when Justus' inner snow-playing-scrooge came out and he looked up at me (after not moving around very much without being carried) and said "but mommy, it's cold." He asked to go in. I was excited because that meant I could go in and this is what he did.
I do not think he once regretted his decision, even when he was looking at the door to watch them play! I am sorry, Justus that you got my scroogeness when it comes to being cold!

I am also a snow/cold Scrooge. I want 75 degree plus around the clock every day. Unfortunately Marco Island isn't warm enough for me every day. But, I'd be willing to give it a try there. Then I could take the kids to the beach or Mackle Park and pretend the sand is snow.
I'm with you, Justus! We'll snuggle on the couch!
I am in total agreement with Justus. Couch and snuggle warm.
