First Day Of School

Well, yesterday was our first day of Sunshine Day School. We were all so excited. Hannah and Justus got to pack backpacks and pack a lunch box and everything. FUN!

Things went well. I am the assistant teacher in a class of older 3 year olds and four year olds. We have lots of boys so the head teacher was a little nervous. They were wonderful though. We are going to have a really fun year. No melt downs in my class yet! YAYAY!

However, speaking of melt downs...

Hannah was fine when we arrived. Hannah was great when I took her to class. Hannah was so excited about Mrs Shana and Mrs Lori being her teachers. About 15 minutes later Daddy walks in to see her room and then he tries to walk out to go to the parent meeting and ..... well ..... this is when the melt down happened. Crazy. Clinging. Desperate. Melt. Down. They told me they literally had to peel Hannah off of Chris and Chris had to RUN out of the room. (I may be exaggerating a little but, from what I hear, not too much.)

Of course, Hannah ended up being fine.

Another awesome thing is that we get to take Reese and Willa to school with us and bring them home with us! We are so excited about it. Since today was a parent day, Willa went to school with her Daddy but Hannah and Reese were more than happy to take some first-day-of-school pictures together. Not Separate - Together.

Oh, and everyone is very proud of the backpacks.

It is going to be a fun year!

Great pictures! Can't believe the melt down but, those things happen......Can't believe how they are growing up. Justus' back pack looks as big as him!

Love you all!

How exciting, and the pictures show the excitement. Hannah did just what her Aunt Melissa did on the first day - so excited, yet had to be peeled off - but then she was fine. Hope the school year goes well for ALL of you!

I love Hannah's "school dress" -- so cute. Justus sure looks ready to go.

I would take a class full of boys over a class full of girls anyday! They are so sweet before they hit high school:)
