Hannah Stories

Yes, that is plural!
She is getting all this Christmas talk mixed up with all of our other regular conversation and it is hilarious.

#1
Background: We talked to Hannah about how Daddy has to go in to the attic to get the Christmas tree and she has since watched him in go into the attic to get things.

We teach on Sunday mornings in the classroom next to hers. We are in the middle of class and Hannah's assistant teacher (a good friend of mine) sticks her head in our classroom and asks "why do you have Jesus in your attic?"

Apparently, they were all talking about Christmas and if everyone had their tree up and letting all the kids talk and then when the Bible lesson started, Hannah was still on the Christmas tree topic.

#2
Background: Here, McDonald's is still doing any size drink for $1 and I go thru the McDonald's drive thru about twice a week and spend a total of $2.18 in change to get me a yummy fountain drink of Diet Coke. Regularly, Hannah will ask for a cheeseburger and an ice cream and I tell her the truth - that we don't have enough money. Also, our tree is up but the ornaments are not yet on it.

Yesterday Hannah was talking to her Maw Maw and she asked Hannah if she liked all her Christmas ornaments. Hannah told Maw Maw that we didn't have enough money for Christmas ornaments because Mommy gets her drinks at McDonalds.

I was so embarrassed and couldn't help but laugh.

I'm still laughing over the "no ornaments/Mommy's drinks" story. And she was SO into the story - and told it twice. Well, now that you've told the story on your blog, I don't have anything to hold over your head! Love Hannah and her stories!
