Interesting Information

So, let's say, you are snowed in your house. And, let's just say, maybe the walls seem to be closing in on you by the hour. And, let's pretend, say.... You want to do something a little different since you have a moment downstairs in the kitchen by your self while fixing supper.

You look in your pantry and you have a cake mix that is not yet out of date, however, you can not remember buying it. And, what'd ya know?! There beside it is a jar of cream cheese icing - your favorite. (Again, not out of date but unsure of how you aquired it.)

Now, add to that thought, you don't really have a cake pan but you do have a cool looking bundt pan that you would like to use...

What do you do? You can't really ice a bundt cake and you don't have any of the ingredients to make your own glaze. Let's say you google it and no one will really confirm what you can and can not do with a jar of icing and it still be OK.

Let me tell you...

You put the icing and a LITTLE bit of milk (I put too much at first and had to pour some out) in a bowl and microwave it. Then pour on and Wa La! It works and it is good!

Yippppeeeeeeee!

Looks yummy to me (and very pretty, too!) - I'd like to take my finger and go all the way around that plate and "clean up" all the dripped icing!!! Bet Hannah and Justus would help!

And just who is this that says you CAN'T ice a bundt cake. Icing is multi-functional, you could ice a pretzel if you wanted. Icing can be warmed and used as a dip, even as a salad dressing. Cake icing is an essential part of the food pyrimid, you just poor it onto the peak and let it run down past the protein, veggies and milk. Then the pyrimid will have a nice glisten!
I'm getting hungry. Anyone for a cupcake breakfast? Extra icinbg please!

Sorry for all of the spelling errors on the previous post. It was way to early, I hadn't had a sugar fix yet. I'm feeling better now!
