I did say that this was a book about 4 high school girls right? Well, they all had very different plans for a summer and they all learned something very different. One learned that sex is not a game and is not something small. Another learned that life is precious and it is not worth complaining all the time about it. A third learned that it is OK to trust someone with love and to open yourself up. And the fourth learned that there is no certain way a family must look and you can be happy with something that is different from what you had in mind.

I liked it. It was a great book about girls. The Next book I read will probably be The Second Summer of the Sisterhood by Ann Brashares. (obviously a sequel) I will let you know about it, don't worry.

I am thankful for reading. (I bet my mom didn't think I would ever say that, when I was young.) It helps me. It is my own "getting away"!
